Paranoid webzine was first published online in 1999. The website was hosted by a Ljudmila server and was managed by a small group of enthusiasts, some of them still active in managing the website. Quickly establishing itself as the primary Slovene source for metal music culture, its main focus remains the same – providing competent information from the world of metal, covering both the international as well as local scene.

Based on volunteer work only, the webzine today provides album reviews, concert and festival reports, interviews with both international and local music protagonists, photo reports, extensive band covering articles, various shorter news and more. Besides that, the website also runs a discussion forum, which functions as an important tool for social integration of the scene, and also features a lively informal market for metal merchandise.

In 2009 (and in the following years), the Paranoid crew collaborated on staging the first Paranoid Open Air Festival, thus named in honour of 10th anniversary of the webzine.
