Established by Maja Licul and Marko Drpić, the work of the Studio Zadruga ranges from logotypes, web and information design, to the design of publications and exhibitions and organisation of design events. In 2010 the first Festival of Letters was organised at the Kresija Gallery along with the World Book Capital Ljubljana 2010.

Studio Zadruga differs from classical design studios because of its unique projects such as information design by means of in–situ engravement, the design of occasional coins and stamps, and calligraphy.

Projects

The selected works include the corporate identity for the Lojze Spacal Gallery (2006) and ARNES (2009), a design of the magazines Primorska srečanja (2001 – 2005) and Slovenija.Svet (2003 – 2005), and the information design at the Ljubljana's Tivoli Park (2008).

Exhibition designs include the exhibitions for the Biennial of Slovene Visual Communications, organised by the Brumen Foundation in 2009, and the Prakolo: slovenski tehnološki biser exhibition at the Slovenian House in Brussels (BE). The permanent exhibition set for the Croatian Museum of Tourism in Opatija (HR) was conceived in 2007 in cooperation with Miljenko Licul (1946–2009), the father of Maja Licul and a respected and well-acknowledged Slovene designer, responsible for many designs related to "Slovenian identity", to mention only the design of the Slovene passport, the personal identity card, and the former national currency, the Tolar.
