In addition to regular secondary education subjects, the programme includes practical training (classical ballet, contemporary techniques, and choreographic work), history of dance and performing arts, and a class in practical anatomy. The programme's lecturers are renowned Slovene and international pedagogues and dance makers. Each year, the pupils present their work at final productions, titled Pre-Premières, which are recently held in Stara Elektrarna - Old Power Station and produced by Emanat Institute. The programme's students also appear in Transgenerations Festival of Youth Creativity and at the competition of young Slovene dancers and choreographers Opus, organised by the Public Fund for Cultural Activities of the Republic of Slovenia.
In the study year 2010/2011, the Pre-School Education and Grammar School, Ljubljana will launch a drama-theatre programme.
