The journal appears annually and consists of approximately 200 pages; the papers are illustrated with black-and-white as well as colour reproductions. The texts by non-Slovene authors are printed in the original language with Slovene summaries added, and summaries in other languages are added to Slovene texts. Papers should usually be sent by the end of May of the current year. Indexes and abstracts for recent issues are available at the journal's website. The publication is distributed by ZRC Publishing.
