Etnolog is an annual scientific periodical published by the Slovene Ethnographic Museum. Originally launched in 1926 under the name Etnolog, it was published annually thereafter until its demise in 1944. The journal was launched again in 1948 under the new name Slovenski etnograf ('Slovene Ethnographer') but in 1991 it was released again under its original name Etnolog. It presents new professional texts in the field of ethnology, cultural anthropology, museology, conservation and other branches of the humanities and social sciences. Some issues focus partly or completely on specific themes.
