AiR Celeia Celje
Krekov trg 3, SI-3000 Celje

Run by the Celeia Celje Institute - Centre for Contemporary Arts since 2005, the AiR Celeia Celje Artist-in-Residence programme for international artists and curators is based on inter-disciplinarity and participation, with the aim of building a dialogue and cooperation between foreign and local artists and curators as well as between art and the broader community. A call for applications is published annually, usually in the beginning of the year. The selection process is both by invitation and application.

The artist-in-residence is provided with free accommodation in the Air Celeia studio apartment and gets the possibility of either presenting or exhibiting one's work in the public spaces in the city of Celje. The AiR Celeia Celje programme helps the artists with a stipend of up to 600 Euro monthly depending on the application. The residents must fund all their living expenses and travelling costs.
