The gallery stages a permanent collection of works from Prlekija region, among them paintings and graphic art works by Ante Trstenjak (1894-1970). Most of works in the collection were purchased at Ex-Tempore events or Biennials of Small-Size Pictures. Ante Trstenjak Gallery also organises monthly exhibitions by Slovene and foreign artists.

The Ante Trstenjak Gallery is located next to the Ljutomer Culture House. The gallery runs a permanent collection of works (mostly) from the Prlekija region, among them paintings and graphic art works by Ante Trstenjak (1894–1970). Most of the works in its collection were purchased at Ex-Tempore art colony events or at the Biennial of Small-size Paintings (Bienale slik malega formata, Ljutomer), which has been held in even years since 2000.
