The [[Borštnik Ring Award and Borštnik Awards]] are bestowed at the central festival of Slovene theatre, the [[Borštnik Theatre Festival]], held every year in Maribor. The Borštnik Ring Award and Borštnik Awards are bestowed at the central festival of Slovene theatre, the Maribor Theatre Festival. Every year the Borštnik Ring Award, the highest accolade for theatre actors in Slovenia, is presented alongside awards bestowed by a separate international expert jury for outstanding achievements of the previous year across a range of categories.
