Beyond Horizons: focus Ukraine
Mid October 2018 the Motovila Institute organises a study tour for a group of cultural managers, artists and curators from Ukraine. The project is implemented under the Culture Bridges Programme funded by the EU and managed by the British Council in partnership with the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) network in Ukraine.
In 2017 Motovila hosted 23 representatives of the cultural sector from Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine and introduced them to 60 Slovenian organisations and 21 cultural spaces or venues.
Culture.si database of worldwide events comprises a dozen of events that took place in Ukraine, in Kyviv, Lvov, Harkov and Odessa. The literary events prevail.
There are Slovenian language Departments at the Kyviv and Lvov Universities.
