Gala hala is a concert venue run by KAPA Association for Cultural and Artistic Production at Metelkova mesto Autonomous Cultural Centre. It hosts around 100 shows during the year, including concerts, DJ events and video screenings. Events cover all genres of music from reggae, hip hop, punk, hard core, rock, rock'n'roll, metal, dub, ambiental and trip hop to breakbeat and drum'n'bass; the musicians come mostly from the underground and/or alternative music scenes. Regular shows featured over here include Rapetek (hiphop concerts held every last Friday of the month), BeatStreet (breakbeat/drum'n'bass event), Zeleno sonce (funk events every first Friday of the month), Kapa Records Festival (concerts of the groups signed to the independent label Kapa Records), Dub Club (electro-dub concerts), Pozor! Nov bend na vidiku! (Attention! New band on scene!) where foreign bands - firsttimers in Slovenia - are presented in a concert athmosphere.

The venue holds a maximum of 330 people.

GALAHALA SUMMER STAGE

Gala hala summer stage is a great outdoor place behind the Gala hala venue where we can host up to 900 people and where we make more demanding shows but also easy going summer events . The season goes on from May till October.
