Gala Hala is a concert venue run by KAPA Association for Cultural and Artistic Production at Metelkova mesto Autonomous Cultural Centre. It hosts around 100 shows in a typical year, including concerts, DJ events, exhibitions, video screenings and multimedia happenings. Events held at this venue expand over all genres of music from reggae, hip-hop, punk, hardcore, rock, rock'n'roll, metal, dub, ambient and trip-hop to break-beat and drum'n'bass. Performing musicians originate mainly from the underground and/or alternative music scenes.
The venue holds a maximum of 330 people.

Gala Hala is a prolific concert and event venue maintained and promoted by KAPA Association for Cultural and Artistic Production which has been an active and important part of Slovenian independent alternative culture since 1994. In this time, they have hosted a myriad of concerts and other events connected to arts and music. Gala Hala is the largest club at Metelkova mesto Autonomous Cultural Centre which means that it hosts a lot of the most attention-grabbing concerts in Ljubljana. Frequent visitors in Gala Hala are for example Dub Trio, obliterating dub-metal champions from Brooklyn, New York. Regular shows featured over here include: Rapetek (hiphop concerts held every last Friday of the month), Zeleno sonce (funk events every first Friday of the month), Kapa Records Festival (concerts of the groups signed to their own independent label Kapa Records), Dub Club (electro-dub concerts), DubLab (a series of events hosted every Monday), Domorodni četrtki (Native Thursdays) presenting up-and-coming Slovenian bands, Pozor! Nov bend na vidiku! (Attention! New Band Emerging!) which features foreign bands - first timers in Slovenia - that get a chance to introduce themselves in a live concert setting. Gala Hala is a vibrant meeting place of adventurers, travelers and music lovers of various convictions. Gala Hala Summer Stage
Gala Hala Summer Stage (Letni oder Gala Hale) is a grand outdoor place located behind the Gala Hala venue and can host up to 900 attendees. Both more demanding shows and easy going summer events go on over there in quite relaxed atmosphere. Some of the events are co-produced by Druga godba and Jazz Festival Ljubljana. The summer stage season usually extends from May until October.
