History
Located in the center of the city, Gallery K18 is an exhibition space of Pekarna Magdalena Network. As gallery space was established back in 2011 as under a name Pekmez with diaversed program, but nowdays hosts more continuous stream of exhibitions.
Program
Pekarna Magdalena Network being a producer of the space and AIR GuestRoomMaribor, the gallery hosts curated presentation of artists-in-residency's projects, created during their residencies stay, Meet the residents events, lecture, debates etc. as well as parallel series of exhibitions primarily focused on presentations of younger artists and curators, experiments with boundaries of the exhibition medium and conception and practice of classical gallery space.
Cooperation
Being a vital player on a culture scene in Maribor, the gallery collaborates with different culture producers in Maribor, opens a door for hosting exhibitions for festivals such as Festival of Photography Maribor, International Festival of Computer Arts (IFCA), Lent Festival, etc.
