Located within [[Kozjansko Park]], the birthplace of Tito's mother Marija Broz, née Javeršek, is a well-preserved house with the hiša, kamra and open-hearth kitchen - revealing besides the authentic furniture from Tito's childhood, the level of material culture of the period. The spatial arrangement of the rooms is that of a typical peasant home on Slovene farms of the 19th century. The museum part of the homestead was arranged in 1979 when a new residential annex was added to it. The farm is still run by the Javeršek family.
