Kataman is an association for artistic production led by Matjaž Manček (b. 1975), musician, music editor and producer. It is a "launcher of bold music ideas, projects and adventurers, an accelerator of synthesis connecting in all levels of music scenes, a conductor of pure energies, life-principles and socially-critical impulses in the music field and other areas of cultural and artistic expression".
 
  
Kataman is also the booking contact for the Alzheimer Trio, Dani Kavaš, Problemlo3 Orchestra, Lira Vega and MM Checkman. Kataman has its own record label, [[Samovar Records]].

Kataman is a small association for experimental artistic production led by Matjaž Manček (b. 1975), musician, music editor, producer and – currently – assistant manager for arts & music at Kino Šiška Centre for Urban Culture. Since its inception in 2005 Kataman was also booking contact for the improvising Alzheimer Trio, singer/poet Dani Kavaš and other local performers, including Manček's solo appearances. Kataman has its own record label, Samovar Records.


International cooperation

Kataman has conceived numerous international events including Soundbridge Ljubljana-Berlin, a new music exchange held in April and May 2006 which consisted of a series of events in Berlin and Ljubljana's Metelkova mesto Autonomous Cultural Zone. Concerts organised by Kataman have featured Anthony Pateras from Australia and MoHa! and Rune Grammofon from Norway.
