Library, Journal of Library and Information Science [Knjižnica ISSN 0023-2424] is an open access, peer-reviewed scholarly journal. It is the only professional journal in Slovenia that presents scientific and professional achievements in library and information science, book studies and related fields. Library aspires to support and stimulate the development of theory and practice and to raise the skills of professionals in the field.

Background

Library has been published since 1957 by the Association of Slovenian Librarians. As in 1984 the association changed its name, LIBRARY became the official journal of the Slovenian Library Association.

The journal is indexed in LISA (CSA), LISTA (EBSCO), Proquest Science/Technology Databases (HT&AJ, Technology Journals, Illustrata Technology), Proquest Research Library and ProQuest Library Science. Fulltext articles are available at COBISS/OPAC, dLib, Google Scholar and LISA.​
