Obrat Association started in 2004 as a collaboration between Polonca Lovšin and Urška Jurman realizing the a transdisciplinary project Ready 2 Change in Ljubljana comprising temporary artist-in-residence, exhibition, lectures, presentations and workshops. The intention of Ready to Change was to provide a multi-facetted insight into the issues of possible life alternatives and inovative approaches to all kinds of systems that rule our everyday lives.
Since the association was established they prepared plenty of projects mostly in the cooperation with other national and international institutions. In 2010
Culture.si offers information on Slovene cultural producers, venues, festivals and support services, all in one place. It encourages international cultural exchange in the fields of arts, culture and heritage. The portal and its content is owned and funded by the Ministry of Culture, funded by the European Union Recovery and Resilience Plan and developed by Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory.
