[[TV Maribor]] is the television programme unit of the [[RTV Slovenia Regional Broadcasting Centre Maribor]]. The TV unit produces its own programme contents but also functions as a regional correspondent for [[Radio-Television Slovenia (RTV Slovenia)]]. The unit was established in [[established::1968]] and represents the regional TV channel with the highest audience share.

== Arts and culture programming ==
The broadcast programme covers local, regional, and international news and news reports with [Tele M] being central regional news programme. It also produces TV shows for the two national TV channels: [[TV Slovenia 1]] and [[TV Slovenia 2]]. The focus of the cultural programming is the city of Maribor with its surroundings. The weekly TV show ''Herald'' [Glasnik] follows the latest news in culture and produces reports from exhibition openings, theatre plays, lectures, and public readings. The show ''Traces'' [Sledi], produced together with [[TV Koper-Capodistria]] and [[Radio-Television Slovenia (RTV Slovenia)|RTV Slovenia]], covers amateur and folk art from all the regions of Slovenia.
