Bližjiknjigi.si is a central information portal for all things concerning Slovenian literature. Established in 2015 by the Slovenian Book Agency, the portal holds a vast database of authors, publishers, editors, libraries, printers and other protagonists involved in the production of literary arts. All of these are cross-linked, connected to the Slovene Virtual Library COBISS, indexed with metadata and (more or less) furnished with contact information.

The portal also offers edited content such as reviews gathered from various online media, information on relevant public calls and tenders, and so on. It enables the aforementioned protagonists to publish their events, discounts, etc. Lists of awarded and best-selling books, as well as the most borrowed books according to the libraries, provide a wealth of information to eager readers. All of this is intended for use by the professional public as well as those just interested in reading.

A partner project to Bližjiknjigi.si is the Revije.si portal, which serves as a central point for magazines dealing with culture in general.
