The Academy of Music is a member of the University of Ljubljana and the only higher educational institution for music in Slovenia. Besides running a broad set of undergraduate and postgraduate studies, it also takes care of a wider musical artistic activity. It organises concert series, features the Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra and some other ensembles and is involved in cooperation with other faculties of University of Ljubljana in research activities of humanities and social sciences.
