Since its establishing, 3 residents have taken part of the programme. In 2010 the AiR Celeia Celje
offered a 2-month residency between 10 May and 10 July to contemporary artists, experienced in the public art projects with the preference of working interdisciplinary in the cross-section between visual art, design, and architecture.
The artist-in-residence is provided with free accommodation in the Air Celeia studio apartment and gets the possibility of either presenting or exhibiting one's work in the public spaces in the city of Celje. The AiR Celeia Celje programme helps the artists with a stipend of up to 600 Euro monthly depending on the application. The residents must fund all their living expenses and travelling costs.
