The library holds more than 17,000 units, and subscribes to around 75 Slovene and international specialised journals and magazines. The library collection consists of worldwide literature specialised for Balkan studies and non-European countries.
In addition to materials housed in the library's collection, additional documentation and information can be found in the the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology's EtnoInfoLab, short for Ethnographic Information Laboratory. This database contains photos, slides, press clippings, and texts pertaining to the ethnic regions of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia covering a period from the end of the 19th century to today. Intended strictly for non-commercial and academic purposes, researchers and other interested parties may browse the contents of the EtnoInfoLab online.
Culture.si offers information on Slovene cultural producers, venues, festivals and support services, all in one place. It encourages international cultural exchange in the fields of arts, culture and heritage.
