The Goriška Museum Library is situated in the Villa Bartolomei in Solkan. It was established in 1954 within the Goriška Museum as a highly specialised library with an important collection of exhibition catalogues, museology and museum publications, a large collection of Slovene and international professional periodical publications, and a collection of minority periodical publications concerning the Goriška region.

Audiovisual records are kept in the department for audiovisual documentation and the presentation of intangible cultural heritage. International lending is conducted via the National and University Library (NUK) in Ljubljana.
