In the beginning, the programme of the Kresija Gallery focused mostly on architecture and design exhibitions, soon it started to also present visual art works of Slovene authors. Solo or group exhibitions are mainly municipal projects or projects resulting in cooperation between the City of Ljubljana and other national and international cities. As a rule, exhibitions here are opened by the mayor of Ljubljana.
