The association is active in the Municipality of Ljubljana and the surrounding municipalities of Borovnica, Brezovica, Cerknica, Dobrepolje, Dobrova-Horjul-Polhov Gradec, Dol pri Ljubljani, Domžale, Grosuplje, Hrastnik, Ig, Ivančna Gorica, Kamnik, Kočevje, Litija, MO Ljubljana, Logatec, Loška dolina, Loški Potok, Lukovica, Medvode, Mengeš, Moravče, Ribnica, Škofljica, Trbovlje, Velike Lašče, Vodice, Vrhnika and Zagorje ob Savi. It is a member of the Union of Associations of Slovene Librarians.
