The local branches of the Union of Cultural Societies of Slovenia (ZKDS) and the Public Fund for Cultural Activities of the Republic of Slovenia facilitate the activities of 19 local associations, mostly choirs, orchestras and some theatre groups. The Municipality gives regular financial support to their running costs and part of the programming costs of the Nova Gorica Arts Centre, the Musical Youth programme and the programme of Kostanjevica Franciscan Monastery. The municipality is also a patron of the International Saxophone Meeting.
Culture.si offers information on Slovene cultural producers, venues, festivals and support services, all in one place. It encourages international cultural exchange in the fields of arts, culture and heritage. The portal and its content is owned and funded by the Ministry of Culture, funded by the European Union Recovery and Resilience Plan and developed by Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory.
