As a number of people, who participate in the Salon evenings (held on Saturdays), are experienced in music production, they also professionally record the concerts, giving the musicians also recordings of their songs and upload videos of the concerts.

One Music Salon is a curious mixture of a (house) concert venue, music cycle and even sort of a production studio. Opened in 2013 by One Music Society, the salon hosts weekly Saturday concerts by both Slovenian and international musicians. Though no specific boundaries are set, the music often revolves around folk idioms, though naturally understood very broadly. The attendees have to apply in advance and in order to attend, have to become members of the society. The place has a policy of self-regulated community, which also goes with regards to paying entry fees and drinks.


As the people who participate in setting up the Salon evenings are experienced in music production, the concerts are professionally recorded. Videos are also being made and regularly uploaded on Youtube, thus providing a comprehensive insight into the new music that is being presented at the Salon.
