The website features selected contents on arts and culture: interviews, cultural news from Slovenia and abroad, cultural policy issues, language corner, book reviews, statistics, etc). The interview and selected news are published also in English. Special blocks of news were opened to covered complex and long-term international cultural projects like World Book Capital Ljubljana 2010 and Maribor, European Capital of Culture 2012. The website has been co-funded by the Ministry of Culture.
Culture.si offers information on Slovene cultural producers, venues, festivals and support services, all in one place. It encourages international cultural exchange in the fields of arts, culture and heritage. The portal and its content is owned and funded by the Ministry of Culture, funded by the European Union Recovery and Resilience Plan and developed by Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory.
