The German Reading Room (Nemška knjižnica) is an independent unit of the Central Technological Library, University of Ljubljana, founded under the auspices of the Goethe Institut and co-funded by the Ministry of Culture. Its main task is to facilitate the German reading culture in Slovenia. Among over 5,000 books there are titles dedicated to German architecture, design, literary theory, humanities and social sciences. The readers can consult over 30 prepaid German magazines. The unit organises also small-scale cultural and informative events.
Culture.si offers information on Slovene cultural producers, venues, festivals and support services, all in one place. It encourages international cultural exchange in the fields of arts, culture and heritage. The portal and its content is owned and funded by the Ministry of Culture, funded by the European Union Recovery and Resilience Plan and developed by Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory.
