The Academy of Music is a member of the University of Ljubljana (UL) and the only higher educational institution for music in Slovenia. It organises concert series, featuring the Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra and other ensembles, and is involved in cooperation with other faculties of the UL in research activities of humanities and social sciences.
