T-5 Project Space was established by Bevk Perović Arhitekti in 2005 as an open platform for ideas, opinions and information exchange relating to design, art, architecture and contemporary life. It is a space for lectures, design exhibitions, art fairs and the PechaKucha Night events.


Since its opening in an old Tobacco Factory T5 Project Space has hosted a colorful range of design events – lecture series and presentations, exhibitions on international designers as well as upcoming local talent, fashions shows, and occasional second-hand sales of design objects. T5 has also served as a venue for Museum in the Street programme, and a substitute space for exhibitions as part of a Hosting Moderna galerija! programme during the renovation of the Museum of Modern Art. At the exhibition IRWIN, NSK Passport Holders in 2009 documentary videos were shown alongside with the debate and lectures on the effect NSK passports had as a supplementary documents for crossing a border. At this event visitors were invited to become members of Neue Slowenische Kunst - NSK State.

At T5 Project Space TraktaT, Architectural Jury workshop was organised by Trajekt Institution for Urban Culture in 2009, with Andreas Ruby, Luka Skansi, and Maroje Mrduljaš giving lectures.


PechaKucha Night

The PechaKucha Night programme features 10-15 short lectures per night during which projects and ideas are presented with each presenter being permitted 20 slides, each shown for 20 seconds.

The first PechaKucha Night Ljubljana was staged in April 2007 and featured Saša Begović, Uroš Belantič (Oktober Studio), Martin Bricelj (CodeSign/CodeEp), Aljoša Dekleva and Tina Gregorič (Dekleva-Gregorič Arhitekti), Maja Hawlina (Lowe Avanta), Miha Horvat and Metka Golec (Son:DA), Sanja Nešković Peršin, Sven Jonke (Foruse/Numen), Gregor Podnar (Gregor Podnar Gallery), Slavimir Stojanović (Futro), and Miranda Veljačić and Dinko Peračić (Platforma 981).

The Ljubljana PechaKucha events followed with various Slovene and international designers and architects presenting thir work. Among them were also Davor Bruketa (Bruketa&Žinić), Jovan Jelovac (Belgrade Design Week), Iztok Kovač (EnKnapGroup (EKG)), Igor Medjugorac, Hrvoje Njirić (Njirić plus arhitekti), ProstoRož - FlowerSpace Association and Kombinat, Almira Sadar (AlmiraSadar), Jurij Sadar (Sadar-Vuga Arhitekti), Silvio Betterelli in Martina Graselli (S.M.og – Milano), Nika Zupanc, Mina Žabnikar, Ineke Hans, Richard Hutten (Richard Hutten Studio), Mika Cimolini (Elastik Architecture), Ursula Lavrenčič (Megla), Daan Roosegaarde (Studio Roosegaarde), and Mirko van den Winkel (Moroso).

Global PechaKucha Day for Haiti

On February 20th 2010 a worldwide network of PechaKucha Night cities hosted a national event to raise awareness about the situation in Haiti as well as to raise money for reconstruction after the devastating earthquake. To join forces with the Architecture for Humanity organization for a Haiti Earthquake Rebuilding Programme also Ljubljana participated in the Global PechaKucha Day for Haiti.
