From 1965 until the end of the 1990s, Obzorje Publishing House in Maribor issued the well-known cultural magazine Dialogi. Then in 1998 Aristej Publishing House took it over, publishing a new version of the magazine in the form of the monthly Dialogi, Magazine for Culture and Society. Today the magazine presents new literature as well as articles on arts and culture and social and political sciences. It is published in Slovenian with abstracts in English.


Each issue of the magazine is devoted to a certain central topic, the previous topics included the dilemma of "Authorship Rights" and the current problem of "Urban Culture". The magazine includes a special section for literature and a section for reviews of books, films, and theatre. The diary pages are devoted to thoughts of artists, cultural workers, and writers.
