In its 11 years of activity, the festival has gained a high number of spectators of all ages and an international reputation. The biggest and most resounding festival for children in Slovenia, the festival has recently featured puppet theatres from Italy, Brazil, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, Belarus, Belgium, Hungary, the United Kingdom, Chile, Bulgaria, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Israel, Germany, and Slovenia, with over 20 groups being invited to each festival. Other international theatres presented at the festival were: Figurentheater Vlinders & Co. (Belgium), Teatro Los Claveles (Spain), Marionetas en Libertad (France), Teatro Neline (Slovakia), The Naive Theatre Liberec (Check Republic), Hazira – Performance Arts Arena (Israel), etc.
Various creative workshops for children (visual arts, multimedia, puppetry, etc.) are conducted and exhibitions of puppets presented. The festival traditionally holds a workshop in chivalry skills, namely, "Pageants School for Young Pages and Dames". The 2009 workshops were organised in the frame of the project "Carol Singing and Related Customs" [Koledovanje in koledniški običaji], supported by EEA and Norway Grants, which also supported the guest appearance of the Belarus theatre Brest Puppet Theatre with the performance Rygorka - the Bright Star.
