Since 1997 the publishing house Založba /*cf - Institute for Publishing and Research Activities has published around 80 titles by eminent authors in various fields of humanities, including translations of Althusser, Barthes, Bataille, Benevolo, Burke, Bardin, Freud, Eco, Foucault, Groys, Rougemont, Wellerstein, Veličković and Woolf, and new texts from the field of anthropology, sociology, linguistics and art history by Slovene authors such as Borut Brumen, Zoran Hočevar, Vlasta Jalušič, Igor Žagar, Rastko Močnik, Tomislav Vignjević and Beti Žerovc. The books appear in several collections: the Red, Violet, Orange, Green and Blue collections, the Kaif collection, the Pocket collection (in co-operation with SCCA-Ljubljana Centre for Contemporary Arts) and the Extra and Varia collections. In 2003 Založba /*cf launched its translation of the collection The Making of Europe conceived in five languages by Jacques le Goff for a network of five European publishing houses - the first part featured texts by Umberto Eco, Hagen Schulze, Franco Cardini, Jack Goody and Joseph Fontana, the last three out of 18 book were by Jacques Le Goff, Luciano Canfora and Peter Brown.
