The gallery has featured the latest works of Slovene artists of the younger generation such as Manja Vadla, Sašo Vrabič, Urša Vidic, and Meta Grgurevič. The SCCA-Ljubljana Centre for Contemporary Arts has already prepared several projects in the Vžigalica Gallery – in 2010, for example, it served as an SCCA/Service Information and Consulting Platform with the Artservis, Cultural Contact Point Slovenia, ArtsLink Awards, and Slovene ALF Contact Point. Vžigalica Gallery also hosted the re.act.feminism, Performative Art of the 60s and 70s by the City of Women Association for Promotion of Women in Culture and Lighting Guerrilla Festival by Strip Core.
Culture.si offers information on Slovene cultural producers, venues, festivals and support services, all in one place. It encourages international cultural exchange in the fields of arts, culture and heritage. The portal and its content is owned and funded by the Ministry of Culture, funded by the European Union Recovery and Resilience Plan and developed by Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory.
