The Roots, guests of Druga godba Festival in 1995, were supposedly the first foreign hip hop band performing in Slovenia

Druga godba Ljubljana is a non-for-profit cultural institution, established in 1999, which organises the Druga godba Festival, an international world music festival held annually in Ljubljana.

Occasionally, it also sets up individual concerts throughout the year. They are called Sogodbe.
