Background
The Galerija BOKS Society was established in 2010, when it was first and foremost meant as an organisational entity, under which the in 2009 initiated Project BOKS would be run. This project was conceptualised by students of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design and the Faculty of Architecture, and was meant to create an autonomous venue for artistic production and presentation.
