Recent recordings include a recent album from [[Big Foot Mama]]. The Walkabout from Seattle (with Chris Eckman as producer) have recorded and mixed at Metro Studio on several occasions. Chris Eckman also accompanied Cornelius from the band Draumir in a session to overdub a string section for their last album released in February 2007 (Universal Norway).

In 2007, they were visited by the editors of the American audio magazine Tape Op which than included a multi-page coverage of the studio and the people working there. They also colaborate with the SAE institute as lectureres and offer practical xx and recording hours to its students and also to IAM.

Studio Metro was founded back in 1982 as a response to the than available recording infrastructure and conditions, which were according to the founders - both of them musicians - quite unsatisfactory. The studio engages in mastering, mixing and recording for various authors and bands from Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia, Germany, the USA, Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Norway and Spain. Their clients include several record labels from abroad as well as Slovenia (Dallas Records, Nika Records).
