A-Atalanta launched its feature film productions in 1996 with ''Čamčatka'' ('Melitta'), a TV film directed by [[Mitja Novljan]]. Its short film ''A Short Hymn to the Home Country'' (1999), directed by [[Boris Palčič]], won the award for best short film at the International Film Festival in Gava, Spain and at the International Film and Video Festival in Tebessa, Algier, both in 2001. In 2000 the studio produced the feature film Lesi Returns (2000) by Jan Zakonjšek. The short film The Last Wish by Petar Pašić was screened at the 6th Festival of Slovene Film in 2003. In 2006 A-Atalanta participated at the EuroForum, Audiovisual Co-production Market in the framework of the 7th International Film Festival in Gran Canaria.

Its short film A Short Hymn to the Home Country (1999), directed by Boris Palčič, won the award for best short film at the International Film Festival in Gava, Spain and at the International Film and Video Festival in Tebessa, Algier, both in 2001.
