Many of its project are organised abroad with the aim of promoting Slovene literature through the visits of Slovene authors. In cooperation with the [[Literary Association IA]] the festival of Slovenian culture Golden Boat [Zlati čoln] started in 2010 in Krakow, Poland. It takes its name from a posthumously published poetry collection by [[Srečko Kosovel]] (1904–1926), a renowned Slovene poet. The festival consists of various cultural events, readings, lectures, concerts, exhibitions and film projections. Also under this project is a translation workshop mostly aimed at Polish students of the Slovene language in Bielsko-Biała. Students work on their translations in a direct dialogue with the visiting authors. The workshop is further enhanced by a literary evening with Slovene authors and translators. Together with the [[Literary Association IA]] the visits of Slovene authors to Slovakia, the Czech republic, Germany, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Serbia and other countries are organised.
