In January 2011 the Stripster, the comic art web portal from Netherlands, put in focus Slovenia Special, a selection of 9 comic art authors: Matej Lavrenčič, Koco, Kaja Avberšek, Jakob Klemenčič, Izar Lunaček, Marjan Manček, Marko Kociper, Gorazd Vahen, Dušan Kastelic, and Santiago Martin (the editor of the selection).
The publication Greetings from Cartoonia! presents 6 Slovene authors as well as comic art authors from Italy, Finland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, and Romania. It has evolved into an exhibition that has toured from Ljubljana to Bologna, Helsinki, Sardinia, London, Prague, Linz, Liege (La Zone Cultural Centre), and Bucharest (Animest Festival of Animation).
