The Slovene Arts & Culture Residency in Vienna is the most recently established destination within the Slovene Arts & Culture Residencies Programme. It was opened in 2012 in the Student Residence and hotel Korotan (owned by the Slovene state), in spring 2014 it moved to a new location. The participation in the programme is reserved for Slovene artists, writers, translators, curators, critics, producers, etc., regardless of the discipline. The AiR programme complements the activities of the Slovenian Culture and Information Centre (SKICA) in Vienna.
