Dream Hostel Zagreb - Visions of Excess, a participative event conceived by Maja Kline who presents also the VENUS Project (work in progress on Vimeo), produced by Španski borci Culture Centre, Image Snatchers, a technoburlesque by Feminalz (Emanat Institute),
at the Ganz Nove Perforacije
The centre functions as a permanent rehearsal and performing space for the contemporary dance group EnKnapGroup (EKG), which has already presented its newest performance 10 Min East [10 min vzhodno] (2009) in the Large Hall. It has already hosted performances by other producers, such as Exodos Institute with the performance Between Us [Med nama] (2009), Vitkar Institute with No-Body Project by Anna Nowicka, the project Solistika co-produced by Ljubljana City Theatre (MGL), as well as presented newest works of several Slovene dance makers. Španski borci also hosts a workshops in physical theatre and in music.
Španski borci Culture Centre plans to organise over 300 cultural events per year. En-Knap Productions will realise its programme with 22 partners. The centre offers its infrastructure also to amateur culture groups as well as organises evenings of tango and swing.
Culture.si offers information on Slovene cultural producers, venues, festivals and support services, all in one place. It encourages international cultural exchange in the fields of arts, culture and heritage. The portal and its content is owned and funded by the Ministry of Culture, funded by the European Union Recovery and Resilience Plan and developed by Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory.
