Genre and lyrics
The band has a great social commitment towards the ruling political system expressed within the lyrics. Perić's lyrics, sung in English and Serbian language, are slightly provocative and critical towards capitalistic machinery, mass consumption, and people's passivity. The music itself could be easily compared to Peaches, mixing electronic backgrounds with strong drum lines and firm vocals, with an admixture of Balkan passion.
Performances
The extreme presence of the female vocalist, whose live performance is persuasive, striking, and seductive, makes every show by Ludovik Material a special experience. In addition to the temperamental and performative stage pose of the front woman the performances are accompanied by the professional attitude of the other two members which makes Ludovik Material one of the must-see live acts any time and anywhere.
Their first concert was in Prekmurje in Ambasada ŠKM Beltinci, shortly afterwards they performed on the Gala hala outdoor stage. After the Club Marathon they played on the Animateka Festival with It's Everyone Else, with whom they shared a spring 2012 tour around Central and West Europe, visiting Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic. They have also performed on the Red Dawns, KAPA records, and God Bless This Mess festivals and have had a great number of solo concerts around Slovenia and one in Zagreb.
